Corrine Halstead, Owner

Corrine founded this Flushing operation and has personally overseen more than 38,000 chimney inspections and cleanings since 2009. She still goes out on jobs when a report comes back with something unusual, because she’d rather see the flue liner herself than guess from a technician’s notes. Corrine is the one who wrote the Free Second Opinion policy into our standard practice, and she’s the reason every single job gets a written price before work starts, never after. When she’s not on a roof or reading camera footage, she’s on the phone with homeowners explaining what can wait and what can’t.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been sweeping and repairing chimneys in Queens for 14 years, the last eight of them with our crew. He’s NFPA 211 Level 2 camera-scan certified and handles most of our Flushing repair diagnostics, especially crown cracks and spalling brick, which means brick faces popping off in layers from water damage. Marcus is the one who talks you through the footage in real time, frame by frame, so you can see exactly what he’s seeing. He’s also a serious Mets fan, and if a job runs long during the season, you’ll hear the game on low in the van.

Dana leads our chimney liner installation and rebuild work. Dana came up as a mason, so when a chimney needs a crown rebuild or a cricket, the small peaked diverter behind the chimney that sheds water, she handles it herself instead of subbing it out. She keeps a notebook in the truck with measurements from every liner job she’s done since 2016.

Sam K., Service Coordinator

Sam is the voice on the phone when you call (516) 240-9191, day or night.
